David Donovan

David Donovan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they serve as a Member of the Board of Directors at Touchstone Academy since October 2020. From 2019, David has been working as a Blockchain Advisor, Tactician, and Strategist. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Vice President at Blackchair, where they specialized in Dev-Ops Automation, CX Migrations, transformation, MACD, upgrades, merges, SLA management, BAU operations, and CX Project Management.

David has a long-standing association with Genesys, where they held several leadership positions. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Global Senior Director on the Professional Services Leadership Team. During 2015 to 2017, they held the role of Global Senior Director responsible for Customer Engagement Voice. David also held the position of Senior Director at the NA Resource Management Office (RMO) from 2014 to 2015, where they managed a team of talented Services consultants, engineers, and architects in the Contact Center industry. During their tenure, they successfully achieved or exceeded team billable utilization targets for 20+ consecutive quarters. David started their journey at Genesys as a Technical Support Engineer in 2003 and progressed through various roles such as Director, Senior Manager, and Project Manager before assuming their leadership positions.

Before joining Genesys, David worked as an Information Systems Specialist - Custom App Dev at NB Provincial Government from 2001 to 2003.

David Donovan completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at the University of New Brunswick from 1988 to 1989. David then pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at the University of Prince Edward Island from 1990 to 1993.
