Malcolm Harkins

Malcolm Harkins is currently an advisor at BLACKCLOAK. Malcolm has also been the Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cymatic from July 2019 to April 2021 and at Cylance Inc. from June 2015 to June 2019. In these positions, they were responsible for enabling business growth through trusted infrastructure, systems, and business processes. This included all aspects of information risk and security, as well as security and privacy policy. Malcolm was also responsible for peer outreach activities to drive improvement across the world in the understanding of cyber risks and best practices to manage and mitigate those risks.

Malcolm Harkins attended UC Irvine for their undergraduate degree, where they studied economics. Malcolm then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration at the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. In addition, they have earned two certifications from ISACA - Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
