Mike Schaber

Mike Schaber has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager at Blackcomb Aviation since May 2009, where responsibilities include managing the Quality Assurance Program and acting as a backup Person Responsible for Maintenance. Prior to this role, Mike worked as the Quality Assurance Assistant Manager and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the same company. From September 1996 to December 2008, Mike held the position of Shop Supervisor at VIH Helicopters Ltd, overseeing Heavy Maintenance for the fleet. An earlier role as an Apprentice Engineer at Skyline Helicopters provided hands-on experience with Bell 212 and AS350B2 helicopters. Educational credentials include a degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Airframe Mechanics, and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from International Correspondence Schools and a high school diploma from Prince George Senior Secondary.
