Operations Strategist at Black Diamond Networks

Mark Scratch has over 30 years of experience in the medical device and diagnostics industry. Mark started their career in 1990 as a Supervisor in the Antibody Management Group at Syva. In 1996, they moved to Bayer (formerly Metrika) as the Senior Director of Manufacturing, where they developed, manufactured, and commercialized diagnostic kits and devices under FDA QSR (cGMP) and ISO 9001 requirements. In 2008, they joined Pathwork Diagnostics as the Vice President of Operations and Quality Systems, where they were responsible for directing Operations, Quality Assurance, CLIA Laboratory Customer Support, Safety, Software Production and Facilities. In 2010, they moved to Xlumena (which was acquired by Boston Scientific (BSC) in 2015) as the Vice President Operations (Site Lead) and was responsible for planned, organized, and directed site operations. In 2017, they joined Interplex Industries, Inc. as the Global Operations Director - Medical and was responsible for buildout of manufacturing facility in Tamarac, FL dedicated to high-volume metal stamping, molding, reel to reel packaging and cleanroom assembly. In 2022, they moved to Black Diamond Networks as an Operations Strategist.

Mark Scratch attended De Anza College where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Quality Assurance. Mark also served in the United States Army as a Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist.
