Stacey Mueller has over 30 years of work experience, with a diverse background in finance, banking, publishing, and auditing. Stacey started their career at Deloitte as an Auditor from 1990 to 1992. Stacey then worked at Elmore & Associates as an Auditor from 1993 to 1994. From 1994 to 2005, they served as the CFO of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Following that, they joined The Missoulian/Lee Enterprises, Inc. where they held the roles of Controller/Corporate Financial Analyst from 2005 to 2007, and Publisher from 2007 to 2011. Stacey then transitioned to First Interstate Bank, initially as the Vice President and Branch Manager from 2011 to 2013, and later as the Vice President of Commercial Banking from 2013 to 2014. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Blackfoot - Connect to more since November 2014.

Stacey Mueller completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Purdue University's Daniels School of Business between 2013 and 2015. Prior to their MBA, they attended the University of Montana from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and an emphasis on Accounting. Furthermore, Stacey obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Montana Business Standards Division in January 1994.
