Tamara has worked as a Certified Ethical Hacker Instructor for EC-Council, Director of Security and Technology Education for BlackGirlsHack, and Co-Creator for TMK "Trade My Kids" NFT. Tamara has also founded MudMavericks, a company whose role they currently hold. Prior to these roles, Tamara was a Cybersecurity Associate for Paragon Cyber Solutions, a Web Developer and Security Specialist/Web Designer for Alpha Power Pro, and a Technical Specialist for Ricoh USA, Inc. Tamara has also worked as a Math/Science tutor for Troy University and a Math tutor for Enterprise State Community College. Tamara began their career as a Project Manager/Helpdesk support for Intouch, where they designed a handbook for helpdesk personnel and supervised a project to install a new ISDN phone system.
Tamara V. obtained their Master's Degree in Information Security from Lewis University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they had completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science from Troy University in 2010 and their Associate in Arts in Computer Science from Enterprise State Community College in 2009. Tamara also received CISSP Certification Training from Florida Technical College, although the start and end year are unknown.
In terms of additional certifications, Tamara obtained their ACE Certified Examiner certification from AccessData in December 2012, their Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in April 2019, and their AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021. Tamara also completed the Red Team Training Program Sponsored by Google and the ICMCP from Security Innovation in September 2021.
