Jamie Brown

Jamie Brown is the current General Manager, South at BlackHawk Industrial. Jamie has previous experience as a District Sales Manager at Grainger, where they ran a team of 10 account managers who sold to the largest industrial and commercial companies in Oklahoma and North Texas. Brown was responsible for sales and service revenue, cross-functional leadership, and operational expenses. At Grainger, they generated 20% top line growth as the #1 ranked Sales Manager in the company.

Before Grainger, Brown worked as a Sales Consultant at BD from May 2011 to November 2014. There, they were responsible for representing the world famous Becton Dickinson Vacutainer product line. Jamie focused on process improvement and efficiency via customer-driven consultations and did close work with Laboratory, Emergency Department, Materials Management, Infection Control and Value Analysis to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and/or safety. Brown was also responsible for analysis and presentation of the benefits, limitations, and financial impacts of proposed solutions. During their time at BD, they closed over $9 Million in annual sales to Hospitals and Regional Reference Laboratories.

Jamie Brown has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor's degree in English & Philosophy from Texas Christian University.

Jamie Brown reports to Tonya Pivarnik, Chief Operating Officer. They are on a team with Shane Hammond - General Manager, St. Louis, Greg Hibblen - General Manager, Duncan Pumps & Services, and Mike Patterson - General Manager, New England.
