Alex Bird

Alex Bird's work experience includes positions at various companies. Starting in 1988, they worked as a Survey Technician at Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May until 1991. From 1991 to 1993, they served as a Corrections Deputy at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office. Following that, from 1993 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Crew Chief at Midwestern Consulting. From 2006 to 2011, Alex was a part of the AMA National Fitting Crew at Goodyear Dunlop Tire North America. In 2012, they became the Chief Field Surveyor at Metro Consulting Associates, LLC, a role they held until 2016. In 2016, they joined Blackhawk Inspection and Consulting Inc as a Chief Inspector and later as a Pipeline Inspector until 2023. Their most recent position was as a Pipeline Inspector at McDaniel Technical Services, Inc. from May 2021 to November 2021.

Alex Bird attended Eastern Michigan University, where they studied Criminal Justice and Corrections. They earned a degree in this field, although the specific type of degree is not specified. Additionally, Alex obtained the ACCP Level II Visual and Optical GI Direct certification from ASNT (The American Society for Nondestructive Testing) in February 2023.
