Matt Salazar

Matt Salazar has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Matt recently joined BlackLocus as a Business Intelligence Manager in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BlackLocus as a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst from March 2021 to May 2022, and as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst from February 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining BlackLocus, Salazar worked at Cvent as a Senior Manager, Analytics from November 2015 to August 2019. Matt also served as the Director of Analytics at Alliance Tech from September 2014 to November 2015.

Salazar's early career includes roles such as President at Agave BioSystems from November 2012 to July 2014, Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Alliance Tech from February 2010 to November 2012, and Business Analyst at Netspend from February 2007 to February 2010. Matt also worked as an Administrative Manager at Agave BioSystems from April 2005 to February 2007.

Salazar began their career at the Austin Police Department, where they worked as a Planner/Analyst from October 2000 to March 2005.

Matt Salazar completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1998. Matt then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from 1998 to 2000. Later, from 2006 to 2009, Matt attended the Texas McCombs School of Business to earn their MBA degree with a specialization in Business.
