Akosua Asabea Ohemeng Owusu

Akosua Asabea Ohemeng Owusu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Akosua Asabea started their career at SSNIT in 2012 as a Trainee Actuarial Analyst, where they worked until 2013. Akosua Asabea then returned to SSNIT in 2014 and held the positions of Actuarial Analyst in the Actuarial Department and Portfolio Performance Monitoring Analyst in the Investment Division until 2019.

In 2021, they joined Capco as an Associate Consultant, and later advanced to the role of Consultant in 2022. Concurrently, in 2022, they also became the Director of Communications at Black Professionals Scotland.

Throughout their career, Akosua has gained expertise in actuarial analysis, portfolio performance monitoring, and consultancy, demonstrating their adaptability and professionalism in different sectors and industries.

Akosua Asabea Ohemeng Owusu has a Master of Science degree in Investment Management from Heriot-Watt University. Akosua Asabea also passed Level 2 of the CFA exam from the CFA Institute. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. Akosua has obtained certifications in Bloomberg from Bloomberg LP in March 2019 and in the Ghana Stock Exchange from the Ghana Stock Exchange in September 2017.
