Xiaoyu Peng

Xiaoyu Peng is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in neuroscience and biomedical devices. Prior to joining Blackrock Neurotech as a Scientist in In Vivo and Biocompatibility, Xiaoyu served as an Independent Consultant, assisting organizations in research related to neurotechnology and various neurological conditions. At Hangzhou Braintech Technology Co., Ltd, Xiaoyu excelled as a Principal Product Scientist, developing preclinical research platforms for closed-loop deep brain stimulation devices. Xiaoyu's background includes significant roles at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where leadership in vagus nerve stimulation research was demonstrated, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Research Associate focusing on chronic stress and PTSD models. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biology/Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biology from Peking University.
