Alberto Castillo Pereyra

Alberto Castillo Pereyra is an experienced compliance and legal professional currently serving as the Director and Head of Compliance for Latin America at BlackRock since April 2022. Prior roles include Head of Structuring and Legal Director at Covalto, where innovative legal solutions were developed for fintech challenges, as well as Country Head of Regulatory Compliance for Commercial Banking at HSBC, where regulatory risk management frameworks were implemented. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Western Union, BNY Mellon, Scotiabank, and ABN AMRO, focusing on compliance, legal functions, and regulatory adherence. Alberto holds an MBA from IPADE Business School, a Diplomado in North American Law from Georgetown University Law Center, and a Licenciatura in Derecho from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
