Ara Basil

Ara Basil has over two decades of experience in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at BlackRock and BlackRock Solutions since April 2001. Prior experience includes a role in North American Operations at TIBCO Software from 1993 to 1997. Ara Basil holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UMass Boston (1984-1987) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brooklyn College (1982-1984). Additional educational background includes studies at Farnborough College of Technology.
