David S.

David S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Principal at BlackRock since February 2019. In this role, David is part of the Technical and Operations team, leading commercial asset management and procurement strategies while holding directorships on investment boards across Australia, Brazil, and the USA. Prior to BlackRock, David held the position of Director at PRO Unlimited, providing asset management support to significant wind and solar projects. As Chief Operating Officer at Leeward Renewable Energy, David managed operations for 18 wind farms and played a key role in the company’s overall strategy and management. David's earlier experience includes leadership roles at Infigen Energy, where David was President & CEO, and various positions focusing on asset management and commercial operations at companies such as Babcock & Brown and PPL Corporation. David holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Public Administration from James Madison University and George Mason University, respectively.
