Devan Nathwani

Devan Nathwani is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio research and investment strategy. Currently serving as Director of Portfolio Research at the BlackRock Investment Institute since August 2022, Devan focuses on macroeconomics, sustainable investing, and portfolio construction to support portfolio managers and clients. Previously, Devan held the position of Vice President in the same institute, and as an Investment Strategist at SECOR Asset Management from December 2016 to August 2022, providing strategic advice to pension fund clients. Devan's career began at Aon Hewitt, where roles included Assistant Portfolio Manager and Associate Actuarial Consultant. Devan holds a Master of Science in Actuarial Finance from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from UCL.
