Dickon Pinner

Dickon Pinner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and consulting. Currently serving as the Head of Transition Capital at BlackRock, Dickon also holds a position as a Board Member at Illuminate. Previously, Dickon was a Senior Partner and Global Leader of the Sustainability Practice at McKinsey & Company, and served as a Partner and consultant. Early career experiences include roles as a Research Scientist at CDT (a Sumitomo Chemical company) during the pursuit of a Ph.D. in Optoelectronics/Organic Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge, and as a Reservoir Engineer at Shell International. Dickon earned a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
