Fred Astier

Fred Astier is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in technology and consulting. Currently serving as a Director at BlackRock since November 2011, Fred leads a team of 50 consultants focused on software implementation and support for Finance and Private Equity clients, specifically utilizing platforms such as eFront and Aladdin. Previous roles include Head of Professional Services Engineering at eFront, where Fred oversaw engineering teams and improved processes, and various leadership positions at Junior ESIEE and the Confédération Nationale des Junior-Entreprises. Fred began a career in R&D as an FPGA-electronics engineer and holds an Engineer's degree in Electronics and Computer Science from ESIEE Paris.
