Frida Montenius

Frida Montenius serves as a Senior Legal and Regulatory Counsel at BlackRock since September 2021, focusing on regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters within the Institutional Legal team. Prior experience includes a role at Barclays Investment Bank, where Frida provided legal advice on prime brokerage agreements and various regulatory matters. As a Senior Associate at Latham & Watkins, expertise was honed in UK, EU, and cross-border regulatory issues for a diverse array of financial institutions. Frida held a legal secondee position at Credit Suisse, assisting with Brexit, and has substantial experience from Ashurst and Goldman Sachs in financial regulation and structured products. Frida's early career included roles at Gernandt & Danielsson as well as Nordea during law school. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws from the University of Stockholm and an exchange program at The University of Glasgow.
