James Goring

James Goring is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various senior roles within prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as the Global Head of GP Accounting at BlackRock since January 2013, James oversees all technical and operational aspects of Carry within the finance department. Previous positions at BlackRock include Director of Global Head of Transfer Pricing Execution and Head of EMEA SMA Revenues, responsible for revenue reporting for EMEA legal entities. Prior to BlackRock, James held several roles at Goldman Sachs, including ESSG Legal Entity Controller and Finance Planning & Analysis VP, as well as a Treasury Controller position at Morgan Stanley. James began the finance career with an internship as a Product Controller at Morgan Stanley after earning a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath.
