Jason Choi

Jason Choi has extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategy, having served as Director - Senior Portfolio Manager on the Structured Credit and CLO Investment Team at BlackRock from January 2019 to December 2022, overseeing $35 billion in investments. Prior to this, Jason held several positions at Morgan Stanley, including Vice President - Portfolio Manager and Associate - Portfolio Manager, where contributions to the Securitized Products Group led to a #2 ranking in CLO research from 2015 to 2017. Earlier roles include a Hedge Fund Internship at Alphadyne Asset Management, a Sales and Trading Winter Analyst position at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and an internship at NERA Economic Consulting. Jason Choi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from Bergen County Academies, specializing in Science and Technology.
