Joe Wall is currently the Managing Director and Head of US Government Affairs and Public Policy at BlackRock, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served as Vice President and Managing Director in Government Affairs at Goldman Sachs from 2012 to 2017. Joe gained political experience as the Assistant National Field Director for Romney for President in 2007 and as Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America from 2009 to 2010. Early in their career, Joe worked as a Floor Assistant for US House Majority Whip Roy Blunt and as Deputy Assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney in 2008. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Wayne State College in 2004.
