Karim Chedid

Karim Chedid is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment strategy and management. Since January 2013, Karim has served as Managing Director at BlackRock, leading the EMEA Investment Strategy and acting as DEI lead. Prior to this role, Karim was the Chief Investment Strategist for iShares EMEA, also taking on DEI leadership for iShares and Wealth businesses in the region. Karim's career began at Nomura International, where Karim worked as an Associate in Equity Derivatives Strategy from June 2010 to December 2012. Karim holds an MSc in Urban Economic Development from UCL and a degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
