Lindsey Shapiro

Lindsey Shapiro is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within global operations and human resources. At BlackRock, from September 2017 to August 2024, Lindsey served as Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer for the Financial & Strategic Investors Group, where responsibilities included overseeing global business strategy and operations. Previously, in the role of Managing Director for ETF and Index Investments, Lindsey directed the strategy and operations for a $6.5 trillion iShares ETF and Index Investing business. Early career experiences include positions as Global Head of Rewards at IHS Markit, Executive Director at Natixis, Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal, and Manager of Transaction Advisory at Ernst & Young. Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Michigan and has pursued further education at Columbia Business School.
