Maureen O'Connor

Maureen O'Connor is a seasoned finance professional with over three decades of experience in accounting and investment management. Currently serving as a Director at BlackRock since 2017, O'Connor previously held significant roles at AIG, including Business Analyst Executive and Vice President of Investment Accounting, overseeing GAAP accounting and managing teams of accountants. Earlier career experiences include positions at BlackRock as Vice President, managing investment accounting for multiple clients, and serving as Director of Accounting at The MONY Group, where oversight of securities and mortgage portfolios was a focus. O'Connor's foundational experience in accounting began at MBL Life Assurance Corporation and Caruso & Company, P.C., further complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Montclair State University.
