Michael Duncan

Michael Duncan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and technology, currently serving as Director at BlackRock since February 2020. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Director, SOR/Algorithms, and Vice President of Development at Investment Technology Group from January 2011 to June 2019. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President/Project Manager Development at ITG Derivatives, LLC from November 2007 to January 2011, where responsibilities included leading a team for infrastructure development at a high frequency/low latency derivatives brokerage. Michael began the career as a Senior Software Engineer and holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 1999 and 2003.
