Nate Hurst is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sustainability and social impact. Currently serving as the Chief Sustainability & Social Impact Officer and Managing Director of the BlackRock Foundation, Hurst has previously held roles such as Head of Social Impact & Sustainability and President of the Wells Fargo Foundation, as well as Chief Sustainability & Social Impact Officer at HP. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Sustainability, Public Affairs, and Government Relations at Walmart and participation in the California Host Committee for Environment 2004. Hurst holds a Master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business from Virginia Tech.
