Phil Ruvinsky

Phil Ruvinsky is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Fundamental US Growth Equities at BlackRock since January 2013. In this role, Phil has been the Lead Portfolio Manager for the BlackRock Midcap Growth Fund since March 2013, overseeing the BlackRock Innovation and Growth Trust and BlackRock Capital Appreciation. Prior to BlackRock, Phil held the position of Sector Head for Internet and Media at Sureview Capital from June 2010 to January 2013 and worked as a Co-Portfolio Manager for the Laudus Large Cap Growth Fund at UBS Global Asset Management from January 2002 to June 2010, with a focus on sectors such as internet, media, consumer, and health care products. Phil's educational background includes an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BA from The University of Texas at Austin, and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
