Robert Fairbairn

Robert Fairbairn has extensive experience in the financial services sector, having held senior positions at prominent firms. At BlackRock, from October 1997 to April 2019, Robert served as Vice Chairman, Senior Managing Director, and Senior Vice President, culminating in the role of Head of International Business after overseeing regions including Continental Europe and the broader Europe, Middle East, and Africa area. Prior to BlackRock, Robert worked in institutional marketing at Lazard Asset Management from January 1992 to December 1993 and began the career as an Analyst at GT Asset Management Limited from October 1987 to December 1992. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in History, Economics, and Russian Studies from Durham University, completed in January 1987.
