Sam Parsons

Sam Parsons is currently the Vice President at BlackRock, specializing in data science and machine learning. They have a robust background in academia, having conducted post-doctoral research at UCL, where they focused on time series modeling for Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis. Prior to BlackRock, Sam worked as a Data Scientist at Preqin, employing time series modeling and scalable inference, and at Arkera, utilizing NLP techniques for online journalism analysis. Sam holds a PhD in Statistical Science from UCL and has also earned a Master’s degree in Statistics with Distinction from the University of London.
