Sara Deakin is the Head of UK Investment Management for Core & Core+ Real Estate at BlackRock. As a Director, they oversee a portfolio of over £4bn in commercial real estate investments and lead a team of Investment Managers in executing acquisitions, disposals, and asset management initiatives while implementing ESG strategies. Previously, Sara held various roles at BlackRock, including Portfolio Manager and Director of Portfolio Management, and served as an Asset Manager at LaSalle Investment Management. They began their career as an Investment & Development Senior Surveyor at JLL, specializing in the City of London and City Fringe markets. Additionally, Sara is a Co-Chair of the BlackRock EMEA Real Estate Executive Committee.
