Tom Hunt

Tom Hunt is currently the Managing Director at BlackRock, a position they assumed following BlackRock's acquisition of Preqin in March 2025. Prior to this role, Tom served as Chief Technology Officer at Preqin from 2021 to 2025, leading technology, data, and operational functions for a global team of around 1,000 people. They previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology at GWI from 2018 to 2021 and were the Head of Development at Kantar from 2012 to 2018. Tom is also pursuing an MPhys in Physics at Durham University.
