Andrew Aslinger

Andrew Aslinger is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product architecture and analytics, currently serving as the Vice President of Product Architecture at BlackSky since June 2016. Andrew's responsibilities include shaping the architectural direction for various components of the BlackSky Ground Segment, including software infrastructure and customer systems. Prior to this role, Andrew held several positions at BlackSky, including Senior Director and Director of Analytics, where expertise in AI and Machine Learning was developed, focusing on computer vision and geospatial analytics. Andrew's background includes substantial experience at Lockheed Martin, where leadership in big data analytics research and air traffic management technology development was demonstrated. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University, a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.
