Derek Elliott

Derek Elliott is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in data science and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Blackspoke since March 2020, Derek has a robust background that includes roles as a Data Scientist at Elder Research and Staff Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton. Derek's work at Booz Allen involved developing data pipelines, custom schedulers for Apache NiFi, and cloud applications using various programming languages. Previous experience includes a Security Specialist role at AppRiver and serving as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force, where Derek supervised personnel and attained fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
