Alex Fulthorpe P.eng

Alex Fulthorpe P.Eng serves as Chair of the Canadian Energy Executive Association since September 2024 and has been President of Blackstone Industrial Services since February 2014, leading strategic expansion and integration efforts. In prior roles at Blackstone, Fulthorpe focused on integrating enterprise sales and execution systems following the acquisition of Nuovo Parts, and developed national growth strategies as VP of Sales and Marketing. Fulthorpe was President of Cima Consulting Corp from February 2014 to February 2015, emphasizing partnerships and value delivery in the oil and gas sector. Experience also includes a sales management role at GE Oil & Gas, where Fulthorpe oversaw market deployment for products in Canada’s new gas economy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University.
