Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy
Samantha Keohan is an experienced educator currently serving as a 1st Grade Teacher and 1st Grade Chair at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy since August 2016. Prior to this role, Samantha held various positions including Camp Counselor, After Care Counselor, and Floater at Tenacre Summer Programs from June 2012 to August 2018, and worked as a Substitute Teacher's Assistant and Teacher at West Warwick Public Schools from May 2015 to June 2016. Additional experience includes serving as an Instructional Aide at The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation in June 2015, and an Americorps Volunteer with Jumpstart from September 2012 to May 2013. Samantha holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Communication and Media Studies from the University of Rhode Island, and is a graduate of Wellesley High School.
