Daniel Lee

Daniel H. Lee, a Managing Director in the Chief Legal Office, is the firm’s Deputy General Counsel, Transactions and General Counsel of Blackstone Tactical Opportunities (BTO), Blackstone Growth (BXG) and Blackstone Life Sciences (BXLS). In addition, Mr. Lee oversees legal coverage for Blackstone Infrastructure Partners (BIP), Blackstone Insurance Solutions (BIS) and Strategic Partners (SP).

Before joining Blackstone in 2013, Mr. Lee worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate General Counsel for the Merchant Banking Division, Special Situations Group and Firmwide Strategy Group in New York as well serving as general counsel for the Korea business in Seoul. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Lee worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in the Mergers and Acquisitions group in New York.

Mr. Lee received a BA from Cornell University and JD from Boston University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.
