David Payne

David Payne is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and corporate development. Currently serving as the Senior Managing Director and Chief Accounting Officer at Blackstone since August 2011, David has previously held positions as Managing Director overseeing Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as an Associate in Private Equity. Prior to Blackstone, David worked at Texas Pacific Group as an Associate in Private Equity and began a career at Morgan Stanley as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions. David holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
