Jai Subrahmanyam

Jai Subrahmanyam has extensive experience in data governance and risk management, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Data Governance at The Blackstone Group since June 2019. Previously, at Goldman Sachs from September 2007 to May 2019, Jai held multiple Vice President roles, including Risk Data Strategist within Enterprise Risk Management, where responsibilities included leading the convergence of non-financial risk functions and data governance initiatives, and was also Global Head of Transaction Data Control, focusing on enhancing data management practices. Early career experiences include a consultant position at Capco and a Vice President role in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division at Goldman Sachs & Co, managing trade processing operations. Jai holds an MBA in Finance from London Business School and a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
