Paula Chirhart

Paula Chirhart is a seasoned professional in public affairs with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at The Blackstone Group since June 2015, Paula previously held various positions at Macquarie Group, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, from July 2009 to June 2015. Earlier roles also include Manager and Executive at Macquarie Group from August 2007 to 2009, and Senior Account Executive at The Abernathy MacGregor Group from 2004 to 2007. Paula began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University between September 2002 and March 2004. Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, History, and Economics from the University of Virginia, earned in 2002.
