Blacktail Mountain Ski Area
Jessi Wood has over 25 years of experience in the outdoor and hospitality industries, with a long tenure at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area since December 1998, where Jessi has held multiple titles including General Manager, Operations Manager, Snow Sports Director, and Snow Sports Instructor. Prior experience includes serving as Summer Staff at a private lodge from May 2005 to October 2019, initially as a cook and later expanding responsibilities to manage gardens for kitchen produce. Additionally, Jessi worked as First Mate at Southeast Alaska Fisheries and as a Deckhand with Bristol Bay & Southeast Alaska Fisheries between 1996 and 2004. Early career roles also include Snow Sports Instructor at Whitefish Mountain Resort and Book Clerk at Bookworks. Jessi is an alumnus of the University of Montana.

In driving to the mountain top, regardless of whether you are an expert or novice skier/snowboarder, everyone starts at the top on Blacktail Mountain. Views from Flathead Lake to Glacier Park and of the Mission, Whitefish and Cabinet Ranges surround. With our lodge and parking located at the top of the mountain, even beginners get to experience the best snow and spectacular views. At Blacktail, step out of your car and get a top to bottom run in before riding a chair!
