Charles Roest

Charles Roest serves as the National Category & Sourcing Manager for Mechanical Engineering and Metals at Blackwoods since February 2019, having held the role of National Category Manager. Prior to this, Charles accumulated extensive experience at thyssenkrupp from June 2010 to February 2019, managing the Technical project department and trading in steel products while focusing on marketing, procurement, inventory control, and global sourcing for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Charles also worked at ThyssenKrupp Materials Trading Australia and Motorcycle Accessory Supermarket, where responsibilities included trading, product management, and managing the high-profit clothing department. Earlier experience includes serving as Operations Manager at Trip Design, cultivating client relationships in graphic design services. Charles holds a Masters of Business in Marketing and a Graduate Certificate in International Marketing from Western Sydney University, along with a Bachelor of Music Studies from the University of Sydney.
