Aaron Porter, MBA, PMP

Aaron Porter, MBA, PMP has over 20 years of professional experience in project management and business analysis. Aaron began their career in 1998 as an Event Coordinator for American Family Day. In 2000, they were an HTML Developer for Paradux Concepts. In 2001, they worked as a Systems Analyst for Caspian Consulting Group/Delta Dental of California. From 2003 to 2009, they were a Business Analyst/Project Manager for Delta Dental of California. During this time, they provided Team Leadership for a team of 4 Project Managers & Business Analysts and IT Leadership for a new business affiliate in Mexico City. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Project Manager for Utah Health Information Network. In this role, they developed project schedules for clinical Health Information Exchange efforts and worked with internal teams to align projects with company objectives. From 2011 to 2019, they were a Project Manager V for Nu Skin Enterprises. In 2019, they joined ZAGG, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, they promoted processes and accountability for post-implementation value realization, managed Magento Commerce product launches, upgrades, and enhancements, and led the customization and implementation of ZAGG’s project management framework. In 2021, they became an IT Project Manager for Blade HQ.

Aaron Porter, MBA, PMP has an extensive education history. Aaron obtained their MBA from Capella University in 2008 and a BSIT in Project Management from the same school in 2006. Aaron also attended the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2018 for Change Management. In 2007, they attended ASPE Technologies / Winnow Management for a Certified Scrum Master Workshop, and UniTek for a CTT+ Boot Camp. In 2004, they obtained an AS in Computer Science - Programming from Cosumnes River College. In 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from HKPO Proactive Solutions, Inc. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, Project Management Institute, CXO Transform, LinkedIn, Scrum Alliance, Acuity Insitute, HubSpot, and Prosci.
