Principal Concept Artist at Bladework Games

Matthew McKeown has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Matthew is currently working as the Principal Concept Artist at Bladework Games since July 2022. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Blizzard Entertainment for several years. Matthew started in May 2016 as a Character Art Intern and progressed through various roles, including Associate Character Artist, Character Artist, and Senior Character Artist. During their time at Blizzard, Matthew was involved in creating concept art, modeling, texturing, rigging, and FX for characters, creatures, armor sets, and weapons on the World of Warcraft team. Their tenure at Blizzard ended in May 2022 when they transitioned to their current role.

Matthew McKeown attended Laguna College of Art and Design from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Game Art.
