Maria Paz Balbuena

Maria Paz Balbuena started their work experience in 1992 at Banco General de Negocios, where they worked in the Capital Markets role until 2003. In 2003, they joined BLADEX and started as a Manager. Currently, they hold the position of VP - Financial Institutions Southern Cone & Colombia at BLADEX.

Maria Paz Balbuena has a diverse education history. In 1992, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1992, they pursued a Foreign Trade program at the Fundación Bank Boston. In 2015, Maria Paz Balbuena completed an Executive Program in Corporate Finance at the Universidad del CEMA. Additionally, they earned a certification in Advanced Trade Finance from the eBSI Export Academy in August 2017.
