Sofía De León has experience working as a Legal Counsel at Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior S.A. (Bladex), reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts in multiple languages. Prior to this, Sofía worked as a Middle Office Analyst at the same company, handling onboarding processes and KYC file updates. Sofía also worked as an Intellectual Property Lawyer at Cedeño & Méndez | Abogados, preparing trademark, patent, and copyright applications. Sofía completed their LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law at Queen Mary University of London and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Political Sciences from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua.
