BUA launched its new underwriting facility in December 2017 with the backing of Accredited Insurance (Europe) Ltd (AIEL). AIEL is owned by the Randall & Quilter Group of companies and carries an A- AM Best Rating. We are also supported by Transatlantic Reinsurance (London) Ltd who are A+ rated by all the leading rating agencies.

BUA underwrites across a broad spectrum of fleet risks from Haulage to SME mini-fleet. Our approach is to look at each risk on its merits and to offer the best possible price with the best possible claims service. Our distinguishing feature will be our service and our willingness to be flexible when required. As a small insurer, we can offer these rare qualities to our brokers and clients - but because we are supported by financially strong companies, we can compete with the larger insurers without fear.

We operate our own claims service so brokers and clients have only one point of contact - and you will be in the hands of a very experienced and knowledgeable team from the outset of the claim.
