Simon West is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in executive search and recruitment, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at BlairWest since January 2019. With a strong focus on Private Equity backed businesses, Simon also contributes as a Non-Executive Director at South Northumberland Cricket Club Limited since June 2016, working to enhance operational performance and community engagement. As the owner of Black Box Consultancy since November 2015, Simon has honed strategic consulting skills, building on a solid foundation from previous roles, including Head of Business Development & Executive Search at nrg., Country Manager - UK at Nigel Wright Consultancy, and Senior Consultant in various capacities at ABPM and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Simon holds both an MA in European Political & Economic Integration and a BA (Hons.) in History from Durham University.
