Valerie Dorsey, BSN, RN, CM, DN has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Valerie worked at Blakehurst Senior Living as a Nurse Navigator & Director of Resident Health since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Registered Nurse at WeCare Private Duty Services, Inc. from July 2017 to September 2019.
Valerie also had experience in human resources, working at CSC as an HRIS/Human Resources Specialist from 2009 to 2010. In this role, they provided high-level production support for the PayForce ADP system, conducted training programs, developed reports, and maintained data integrity in systems.
Before their HRIS role, they were a Cash Manager at Mansfield Auto Sales from January 2007 to January 2009. Valerie's earliest documented work experience was as a Cash Management Administrator at Ascend One from 2000 to 2007.
Valerie Dorsey has a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they completed in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate degree in Nursing from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2016. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2012.
