Craig Hurt

Craig Hurt is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and DevOps. Currently serving as Platform Engineering Director at BlakYaks since August 2021, Craig focuses on designing and implementing cloud-native services and solutions. Prior to this role, Craig was a Principal Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, overseeing cloud-native engagement and enterprise-scale Kubernetes consultancy. Other notable positions include Chief Architect at Acora, Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin, and Technical Manager at Serco, where Craig built expertise in technical governance, design, and project delivery. Craig's career began at Capgemini and ITNET, working in technical consultancy and team leadership roles. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Bedfordshire.
