Maryam Farid

Maryam Farid has extensive work experience in various roles. Maryam recently worked at Blanc Labs as the Lead IT Scrum Master starting in May 2020. Prior to that, they were a Scrum Master at NextHub Inc. from June 2019 to April 2020. Maryam also has a strong background in financial analysis, having worked as a Financial Business Analyst at Blair Building Materials Inc. from July 2008 to May 2019. Maryam began their career as a Project Cost Analyst at Picture Picture Company from January 2005 to June 2008.

Maryam Farid has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, which they obtained from Azad University between 1989 and 1993. Maryam also holds an Accounting/Finance Certificate from Ryerson University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2000. Additionally, Maryam has acquired various certifications over the years. In 2019, they obtained the Scrum Master Certificate of Proficiency from Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they obtained the SAFe 5.0 Advanced Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In 2021, they received the ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching ICP-ACC certification from ICAgile, as well as the PMI-ACP Trained certification from PMTraining. In 2022, Maryam obtained the Kanban Systems Improvement certification from Kanban University. Lastly, in 2023, they obtained the SAFe 6.0 Advanced Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
